Accepts type D and DC impact devices.

All kits include a QH2 with type D impact device, a quick user guide, carry case, conformity certificate and 5 year limited warranty.

Portable hardness tester factory calibrated for steel, operating on the Ultrasonic Contact Impedance method with Vickers being the native unit of measure and conversions to other units  according to ASTM E140 standards.

Kits include a QH5U hardness tester with chosen probe, HV reference test block, coupling paste, user manual, USB stick with Datacenter software, USB cable, carry case, conformity certificate and 5 year limited warranty.

QH5U Version :

  • QH5U supplied with a UCI 10N or 50N or 98N probe
  • For weld hardness make use of 50 or 98N probe

 

10N UCI Probe
  • Ideal to measure superficial hardness, polished surfaces and small parts with a good finish.
  • Superficial roughness : Maximum roughness is Ra 5µm according to ASTM 1038 standard

 

50N UCI probe

  • Measure induction or cemented treated parts such as crankshafts, gears, welds and heat affected zones.
  • Superficial roughness : Maximum roughness is Ra 10µm according to ASTM 1038 standard

 

98N UCI probe

  • Recommended for use in founded parts, weld seams and heat affected zones even in unmachined surfaces.
  • Superficial roughness : Maximum roughness is Ra 15µm according to ASTM 1038

Rugged hardness tester for use in harsh industrial applications with a heavy aluminium enclosure and rubber sides.

All kits include a QH7 hardness tester with chosen impact or UCI device (see versions below), reference test block, coupling paste, rechargeable batteries, battery charger, user manual, USB stick with Datacenter software, USB cable, carry case, conformity certificate and 5 year limited warranty.

QH7 Series Versions :

  • QH7L supplied with a type D impact device but also accepts type DC, DL, C, G and E impact devices 
  • QH7U supplied with a UCI 10 or 50 or 98N probe
