EDX8000 is a non-destructive,fast, accurate and cost-effective XRF fluorescence spectrum analyzer, used to analyze lead (Pb), cadmium (Cd), arsenic (As), mercury (Hg) and Chromium (Cr) in various metal plastics and electronic materials. The lowest element detection limit (usually 2ppm) meets the RoHS regulations.

  • Hazardous substance detection  (Pb, Cd, Hg, Cr, Br, Cl, As, Sb, Se, Ba, etc.) in toys and consumer products in compliance with EN71

  • Coatings on electronics and semi circuit boards and PC boards
  • Precious metal coatings such as Rhodium on a gold base
  • Coating thickness on any substrate provided the coating is metal
  • Multiple coating analysis on substrates (up to five coating layers can be analysed)
